The beautiful blue that I remember from jewellery in the 1950 - 1970 period rather than the more wishy-washy shade that appeared after the 1970’s.
This is a great design which truly shows the gem to the best effect.

This is a very simple design yet it sets off this beautiful, blue gem perfectly. I love the colour. The effort gone into accessing and transporting this gem from the mountains makes it all the more precious.
