How long have you been at Gemporia, and how long have you been a presenter?
“I’ve been with Gemporia for ten years (wow, that’s gone in a flash!)
“This was my first presenting job, and I’ve never looked back. I’ve loved every minute, and I’m looking forward to the next ten years and beyond.”
What is your earliest Gemporia memory?
“My first memory was my audition, and it was the scariest and most rewarding day I’ve ever had. My audition was ten minutes live on air, which was terrifying at first - but now you just forget and enjoy.
“Then we had a trip to India, and a trip to the Oregon Fire Opal mine. These are all memories I will never forget.”
What is your favourite gemstone and why?
“It’s so hard to choose with all we offer at Gemporia, so it’s hard to have a favourite…but I do love Diamonds. I’m a Diamond baby so that’s my first choice!
“With coloured gems, I love Swiss Blue Topaz - it’s such an inviting colour and it’s just so beautiful. But then there’s Paraiba Tourmaline, and Emeralds, and Csarite…we really are spoiled for choice.”
Who do you admire the most and why?
“My mum! She is a star, and without her I wouldn’t be the person I am today - she 100% backs me and is always by my side. She watches Gemporia, and drops me a message to say she’s super proud.
“I really hope I can go on to be an amazing mummy to my children like she is to me.”
What is your favourite place in the world and why?
“My favourite place to be is at home with my husband and my two gorgeous children, Isla and Harrison. Being around them is where I feel complete.”
What are your guilty pleasures?
“Can I say wine!?”
What was your dream job growing up?
“I always wanted to be an actor, and I was for many years - then I auditioned for Gemporia and it completely changed my life.
“This is my dream job, and I love what I do. Through working with Gemporia I have also had the opportunity to create and design my own collection of jewellery, Enchanted. This collection is inspired by fairy tales and the world of make believe.
“I am so proud of Enchanted and so happy you all love it - thank you so much.”
What advice would you give for choosing a piece of jewellery?
“If you’re in love and you just can’t stop thinking about it, then it’s a must!
“Go for it! You only live once.”
What quote/motto do you like to live by?
“Never ever give up, keep dreaming big and aiming high! Your goals are always achievable.”
