Junior Front End Developer

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire (B98)

Salary: Competitive

Position Type: Permanent - Full Time

Working with guidance from the Lead Developer, you’ll interact closely with other developers and our creative team to build key components of our ecommerce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver components of web pages from storyboards and layouts whilst adhering to the brand style guide
  • Work with the lead developer and e-communications team to ensure that projects are delivered on-time
  • Be a good communicator who can discuss both technical & non-technical issues with both technical and non-technical members of the team.
  • Provide support for existing sites

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Practical knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 hand-coding skills
  • Practical knowledge of developing responsive websites
  • Understanding of JavaScript and jQuery
  • A passion for all things Front End keeping up to date with the latest developments
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills
  • Patient and flexible
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Organised and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Examples that clearly demonstrate your skills and capabilities

Junior to Mid Level App Developer

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire (B98)

Position Type: Permanent - Full Time

Key Responsibilities:
Working both within a team and on your own you will develop our mobile applications across multiple platforms, bringing new features and new designs to market. Our applications cover both real-time sales applications and also account management for customer as well as various apps used for internal stakeholders.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
We’re looking for people that will thrive in our open and dynamic environment. You’ll be pro-active, motivated and a great team player. We are looking for a proven developer on at least one device family with the desire to expand to other platforms. You’ll also need the following:

Essential skills and attributes:

  • You are hardworking and willing to constantly learn and develop yourself.
  • You have a relevant degree, or relevant work experience.
  • You will be able to provide examples of your programming experience. Code listings from projects (either personal or academic) are preferred.

Minimum experience:

  • Experience developing on either iOS or Android (professional experience is not required)

Beneficial, but not essential skills:

  • Multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Windows Mobile)
