I managed to get a lovely strand. The pearls are incredibly luminous and the graduation between the ivory ones and the steely grey, blue ones to the front of the piece is very appealing and whilst noticeable, works very well indeed due to the matching. Look very expensive when worn and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Thank you Gems Team.

The lustre on these pearls is amazing. I am adding this strand to another white pearl necklace to make it longer.

Lovely size pearls, very baroque type akoya pearls, but the quality for me was not great. The blue akoyas were beautiful colour. I just think for the price I expected better quality

The 3 necklaces were delivered within the time frame. The parcel was well presented, with each necklace contained in a smart “Charlie Barron”necklace box.
Unfortunately, and again, the item presented on TV was far different to the ones (x3) sent to me.
@ The blue pearls were not as deep in colour as the ones shown on TV.
@ I was aware that they were baroque pearls, but the shape of some were so awkward, causing non- alignment for the necklace to hang and rest properly on the chest.
@ the orient of the pearls was not great, blemished and a bit dull, there were white patches on the pearl surface, ?exposing the inside substance of the pearl, white.
@ Workmanship - inferior, as I could not detect any knot between each pearl at all. Maybe my amateurish eye did not identify it. This might contribute to the stiffness of the strand and it’s inability to hang appropriately. I felt as if it was threaded in a hurry for the market.
@ Price - due to the above stated, well over priced. I know about the markedly low pearl resource but still, the quality against the price, not justifiable. In fact, if it was a fraction of the price I had paid for, I would not be seen wearing any of them. So sorry and very disappointing!
@ I had bought from Gemporia several strands of necklaces for my family members - South Sea - golden/white, Tahitian, Akoya, Edison-orchid, they are well-loved and well-worn. Thank you. But this time, cannot say the same.

Very disappointing. The ‘ombré’ effect isn’t very noticeable, and the pearls aren’t knotted between each pair, and because they are baroques, this means that they don’t lie flat - and never will. For the almost £1,000 price tag, not to have them knotted was shocking. Also, let’s be honest, the ‘blue hue’ is actually grey. They did have superb lustre, though, but that wasn’t enough for the big price tag. I bought three strands… they all went back.
