Stone non descript. just looked black, they hyped this new found stone up for far too long on TV. At the end of the day its just another name for blue tigers eye, and wish they had mentioned that, plus the ring I received was a poor one, there was no chatoyancy (Schiller) just flat.
Again purchased this ring to go with a pendant, It is stunningly mysterious.
This gemstone is phenomenal the color is deep and intense, the style is very edgy and simplistic.
A very pretty ring but displays none of the colour flashes of the tv presentation - its almost plain black.
I love it, very different
hawk's eye is multicolored with golden stripes or wavy patterns. Its chatoyancy is what makes it so closely related to blue tigers eye said the presenter - so I get a black/blue gemstone with no chatoyancy and nothing (surprise) like the piece demonstrated by the presenter (another non surprise). Returned - and I have asked the company to send me items that meet what was promised in the presentation (last time I asked this - natural pink diamonds - they couldn't meet the request)
