Tiara

A tiara is a piece of jewellery that is worn  on the head and is very popular with royalty  and the very well-off. A tiara is often worn  at  weddings  by  both  the  bride  and  the  bridesmaids.

It  is  said  that  upon  receiving  an  Emerald  necklace  from  Queen  Elizabeth,  Princess  Diana had it converted to a gorgeous tiara.  The  Queen  also  gave  Diana  a  Sterling  Silver  tiara  complete  with  dangling  Pearls  and  Diamonds,  which  is  known  as  the  “Cambridge Love Knot”.

The  single  largest  collection  of  tiaras  in  the world is believed to be that of Queen  Elizabeth II. Many of her pieces are said to  be priceless and she is often seen wearing  them on official occasions.
