Yellow Sapphire Gemstone

Yellow Sapphires  come  in  a  wide  variety  of tones and saturations; from vivid sunflower  yellows,  to  the  glowing  orange  and  golden  colours  of  a  summer  sunset.  The  most  in-demand Yellow Sapphires currently seem to be  the vibrant canary yellows, especially those that  have good clarity and strong brilliance.

A  round  brilliant  cut  Yellow  Sapphire  can almost  be  indistinguishable  from  a  Yellow  Diamond, and is strikingly similar in the way  it behaves in direct sunlight. Yellow Sapphire  can  be  found  naturally  in  Australia,  Burma,  Cambodia,  Thailand  and  the  USA.  Some  of  the  very  finest  specimens  are  currently  being  discovered in Songea, Tanzania.
