How long have you been at Gemporia, and how long have you been a presenter?

“I’ve been a presenter at Gemporia for six years, and have LOVED every single second.”

What is your earliest Gemporia memory?

“My earliest memory was being invited on air with Nick Davies and having a blast. My first Gemporia show was covering the 11pm - 3am show - I was SO excited!”

What is your favourite gemstone and why?

“My all-time favourite gem is the Ethiopian Opal. The phenomenal natural colours completely blow me away every time I see them.

“It’s also my mum’s birthstone, so it’s very special to me.”

Who do you admire the most and why?

“My mum! She’s independent and strong but beautifully sensitive, and I really hope I grow to be more and more like her.

“In the industry, I love lapidarists like Glenn Lehrer and Rudi Wobito - I am completely in awe of their skill and talent!”

What is your favourite place in the world and why?

“My favourite place in the world is the La Manga Club Resort in Spain. My family and I spent every summer there, and whenever I go back as an adult the most special memories come flooding back.

“I feel very lucky to have holidayed there.”

What are your guilty pleasures?

“Other than wine? Hmmm…just wine!

“My ultimate pleasure is purchasing Diamonds and gemstone jewellery - no guilt, just pleasure!”

What was your dream job growing up?

“I never knew what I wanted to do when I grew up. I just knew I wanted to do something I was hugely passionate about, and I feel like I’ve achieved that thanks to Gemporia.”

What advice would you give for choosing a piece of jewellery?

“The most important thing when choosing jewellery is the emotion you feel when you see it or wear it. It’s all about how it makes you feel.”

What quote/motto do you like to live by?

“My grandad used to say this before he passed away, and I couldn’t agree with it more: ‘Life is for living’.”
